woke up at around 10+ today cos i slept at 3 am the previous day. lol. met wg and his 3 other frens at bishan to catch "the host". ok i think it sucks. firstly, tell me wad kinda movie it was supposed to be? scary show? funny show? i can't seem to see the main idea the movie was trying to convey. if you were to say that it's a scary show, it's not scary at all. if you were to say that it was a commedy, it wasn't that funny either. all i saw was a substandardly animated monster running around on the street. the director tried to add in elements of humour, but failed to send the message through. zzz. sucks.
oh ya the banquet wasn't that good too. the music wasn't fantastic at all, the story line wasn't planned properly, the acting was lousy. probably the characters' costumes and the setting of the movie were the only things that appealed to me.
had dinner at the food function at J8. haven't been there for quite some time alady. wg and i was talking and one of his frens asked me if i was a local. i said no. afterwards, yy asked me if i was from CHINA. zzz. sinagporeans usually misunderstood ppl who speak chinese with foreign accent for china ppl....well i don't blame them. but...i juz don like it when ppl think that i'm from china. lol. don't u guys know where's taiwan?!
took a long bus ride home. i love lengthy night bus rides. i can find a comfy seat at the righthand back of the bus and have a good nap. i'll usually take off my spects at times like this. the light spots on the street seem to turn into luminous circular objects. heh i dno how to describe. but i love the scene. indulging in my mp3 music and looking at the world passing by. and i nv fail to realise how beautiful sinagpore is at night. fullerton hotel, explanade, the business towers at raffles place. everything seems so mesmerizing. yeah i love it.
