another chapter unfolds.

yesterday was an eventful day. had flagday in the morning cos i didn't have enough cip hours to fulfill my cca points. went down to somerset mrt to meet the badminton shortpants at about 9. after breakfast at BK, they wentto play lan, whereas i went to orchard library and study. ahh like so poor thingy right. the sec 2s were like: " you nerd ah cip go study". then i said : oh cos prelim's coming soon. leave me alone"

ya so i went to kinokunia to check out some new taiwan books before heading to orchard library. found 2 nice books and will ask my mom to help me buy from taiwan and send here. cos the price here is like 1.5 times of the price at taiwan.....yup so i managed to complete my chem chapter on alkanes+alkenes+alcohol+carboxylic acids and did an english compre.

studied till about 2 and headed straight down to the junction at paragon to do collect donations. why here? cos we have had much experience in flagday, it's the best location to collect donations there. yup so managed to fill my can about 80% full at about 5. chiong home to bath and change for clare's birthda party.

and you know smth? my impression of a "cool" house kept changing. at first i thought my primary sch's classmate kyle's house was the best i've ever seen. it's very class. then it was jov's house, which i thought that it juz looks very comfortable. then it's sam's house. with a small pool+plasma tv+xbox+ps2+4 computers+free pizzas everytime, i thought that his house would be the best i've ever seen. but i was wrong. clare n jacinta's new house is the best. it's CHAO big. i dno how to describe it. it juz totally looks like a villa at bali. with a super big pool and beautiful furniture. or nvm, when we can't describe things which are too perfect.

went studying at library again. i was quite efficient as i finish my physics tys on radioactive and studied some maths. but in the end we studied until so sian that we started playing cards....i taught wg n anne the "taiwan heartattack" card game. haha it's really damn fun lah. of all the ppl i taught all along, all of them liked this game.

went for dinner with jov, shawn n ah bai at LAU PA SAT. we went there and got WARM WELCOMES. there were like 5 persons from different stalls trying to like lure us to their stall lah. then we were like so confused and dno who to follow. eventually jov saw the uncle whom treated him the week before, so we chose him. yup the satays were nice.

but then the " zi cha" ( uh mixed fried food) stall was like a mess. we only ordered a sambal fish and fried hokkian mee, in the end they came up with a wrong type of fish, and an extra plate of fried rice and fried sotong....zzz. i think the aunty was trying to con us lah. in the end we had no choice but to take the fried rice.

helOO everyone!! feeling quite good now after reading mer's entry. somehow mer's entries nv fail to make me realize how blessed i am, and how beautiful this world is. heh. mesmerized.

let's start with today. racial harmony day!! all of us were supposed to cross-dress the traditional costume of other races. randall came to sch with this super cool arabian costume which made him the attention of the morning. it looks damn style on him lah...with the sarong and this cloth n rope on his head (ok sorry for my lousy description) and i FORGOT to take a pic of him. damn.

we had a long recess so that we could visit the special stalls set up by the various racial groups in SJI. i ate siew mai, chi chong fan and Chrysanthemum tea. and oh, i juz realize that they're all chinese food. LOL. went to play soccer on the feild. dirtied my pants while sliding....zzz...

we were watching the movie "hotel rwanda" in the PAC after recess. i've watched it before. this movies talks about racism, and how racism can lead to uncontrolable situations. after sitting in the PAC for like 1 and half hours, i started to fidget. the seat became uncomfortable and i had to keep moving. when the show was near the ending, we were called out for our prelim english oral exam....AIYO...damn anti climax lah...

anyways i did fairly ok for my english oral. the picture description was good, conversation was good. but then my reading, which i thought was okay, actually screwed up.....well....

hmm and the following weeks are gonna be extremely disastrous. i've got 2 birthday parties to attend to, 2 CIP sessions to make up my CCA hours. and tests and mugging. man i'm gonna die....COME ON GIMME ME MORE PRESSURE.

i've got tuition tml morning for 3 hours! better drink some teh first. then it'll be another 5 hour session of studying with WG. let's make if effective and worthwhile!

hooo....have been so busy studying recently that i have to time to blog. sorry!

7 weeks and 14 weeks to Os. this is my last chance man. chiong.

hmm ok i shall blog about the tamming game. i thought that it was juz rather normal lah...didn't really like it. and the tickets are like super ex, $25. hmm i think that the performers acted with professional standards. but somehow i juz feel that there's smth lacking in the play....oh well...ok i rather spend that $25 to watch 3 movies / add $4.90 to but a new ball / go kboxing 2 times /buy an album.

hmm i was thinking of having some "initiative" and be the enthu guy in my clique who movivates everyone to study. hmm OK I SHALL DO THAT. it's time to get into serious work. and i believe if this attitude can be spread throughout the clique, or eben the class, we can study more efficiently. sounds good huh.

i have been blogging so rarely. work is killing me. i got a shock when a classmate told me that we're juz 8 weeks from prelims, 15 weeks to O's. freak man. it's freaking near. i've got only one week per subject. man. i'm damn scared ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. chionging all the way now!!

hmm ok let's see....last sunday was milk run. everyone came to my house to play soccer. played for 2 hours or so. it was damn fun lah. but damn tiring also.

saturday was audrey's birthday. the whole group of us went to escape theme park. it was damn fun too!! audrey and debbie were screaming like hell while the guys were all like =.=" we went to the haunted house, it wasn't scary at all lah but they were still screaming like hell. so we juz accompanied them and made some sound effects....

i FINALLY GOT TO PLAY THE GO CART (after going to escape for like 4 times)!!!!!!!!! haha it was shiok man. i suddenly stopped while driving half way n the 2 persons behind me all banged together...we played a few more rounds after lunch, and unfortunately almost everyone felt like throwing out after the pepsi ride. so we dicided to go home.

man look at wad time i'm blogging now. i'm damn sleep lah. had a long, tiring, but extremely fun day today. after sch today chiong home straight away in order to catch scary movies 4. it was....normal i think. wasn't really funny. but chao lame as usual. after that went for the long-waited kindred spirits concert!!

the concert was great man. i like gareth's "angel" and gerome's "flying without wings". i wonder if those ppl who can't sing for nuts also can get into singapore idol, gareth and gerome should be the top alady lah please. it darn nice. i liked the dance performed by the CHIJ gals, they were near professional standards. i also liked the second last band performance by Mr sirhan, ruben, harold and some other guys. they played damn well lah. and look at ruben's solo. that was splendid man. love it.

after the concert we went to sam's house to watch the world cup together. germany won argentina in the penalties with 4-2. i expected the outcome of the match alady lo. can't wait to watch england vs portugal. hopefull england will not lose to portugal again like wad happened 2 years ago during the european cups.

i love SJI and i love SJI guys and i love my frens. it's scary that time actually passes so fast. i'm alady near graduating. can't imagine leaving SJI n my frens.... must appreciate the remaining time with them!!!

man it's 3+ alady n yet sam they all are not sleeping yet. my eyes are half closed alady....zzz. and tml i still need to wake up at 6:30 to eat breakfast with debbie. after that will be audrey's birthday party.....oh marn. dno whether i can hang on until that time....zzz. for now, i shall persuade sam to sleep!!!
