it's monday 29th of may today. it's the start of our june holidays. but it's also the start of O levels examination for most of my frens. express chinese paper 1&2. somehow i didn't see the tension and stress in class over the past two weeks when they were having chinese intensive. either they're too confident or they juz wanna flung it. anyways, still wish good luck to all. oh ya when u guys are seeing this, it would be end of your exams alady(althought there's still oral), so u guys should celebrate and relax ya?!! WooHoO!
then i shall talk about the inter-house dragon competition on friday. didn't feel like going, but our house was severely short of ppl, so..no choice but to support lo. reached kallang at about 8 and met tiong chew, randall and some other guys. we went to mac for breakfast first. then sam thio called me and asked me where to go.....he was still lying on his bed at like 8:10. (when the com actually starts at 8)zzz. always like that one. after our breakfast, we took a long time to search for the place for the com. only managed to find it after like 15 mintues..
ok there are many diff races, the 12-man boat and the 24-man boat. from sec 1~4. everything were alright until the last race, our race, the sec 4 24-man boat. we didn't have enough ppl so we took ppl from sec 3s from our house(marcian). our leader was a canoist, quite pro afterall as he taught us the techniques of rolling.(<---is that the way to spell it?)
our ship burst forward when the race started and all the other houses were like one boat behind us. we kept up with the lead and continued our pace.so we all along we were leading until we encounter this group of ppl dno from wad sch one. the whole group of them (about 20 canoes i think) were like juz cutting across our racing routes like noone's business. we had to turn our direction to prevent bumping into them. but after that we couldnt turn our direction back to the original route and we finished outside the finishing area.there were like 2 floats enclosing the finishing area, but we finished outside that area. after we finished, we realised that all the ships were like 2 boats behind us...haha
but..BUT. we didn't get the medal as we were disqualified. WDH. it's damn unfair lah. firstly, we obviously finished first with a great lead. secondly, we had no choice but to change our route to prevent accidnets from happening. the teacher-in-charge didn't even bother about that. they only know how to STICK TO THEIR RULES and all. zzz. disappointed. it sucks. but nvm. we know that we won the race can alady!
