we really put in a lot of effort in our performance. william planned everything and spent nights writing the scrpits and generating ideas. walf way there was a small problem, some members quit the performance due to some unknown reasons, so our performance was like hanging half way there. initially i was supposed to only take part by singing 2 chinese songs with others, but now william asked me to be the LEADING ACTOR. omg. i don't even know how to act lah. i agreed to it as william really had too much work to do.
we had a few practise sessions and that's when i started to realise that our performance had many flaws. the main idea was supposed to be the chinese songs, but now the emphasis seemed to be on the skit. there's drama, rock band , chinese song, and even the element of comedy inside. i thought that it was really too difficult to handle. there were so many characters inside de drama, even gals from other schs juz to play as a nurse who only shows up on stage for like 10 seconds. although i really appreciated everyone's effort, i thought that it was really juz a mess.
eventually we put up a good show, but we didn't pass the auditions. however, we were still chosen to perform during the arts week in the sch hall. the rock band and i will still get to sing our songs. hmmm it can really be a great performance if we had more practise. thanks to william for all the effort put in man!
