juz watched "the island"... i think it's really a good movie.




"the island" is talking about a group of clones who do not know their real identities and actually believe that they are "human-beings". they lived in a quarantined building to prevent from the outside world which was supposed to be heavily polluted. all the ppl inside believed that they were survivors from the pollution and were living there innocently. there were lotteries every week to choose one person who gets to go to "the island" , the only remaining clear and unpolluted land on earth. however, all these were illusions. all these ppl are actually products of their owners who wanted a replica of them in order to have a longer life when their organs fail. when there's a need of any body part replacements, their clones inside the centre would so called to have won the lottery and have the chance to leave that place. in actual they would be sent to some medical lab where their organs would be eviscerated for use.




i think that the story line was really good, although it shows some tendency of copying from the matrix. "the island" pur more emphasis on the way clones feel and think, without knowing that they are clones. i also had thoughts like this since i was young. i used to think that i was some experiment which God had put me into this world to see how i react to problems and everything.




anyways, i really liked the movie. if you have a chance, watch it.
